The leading smartphone maker Huawei, Huawei, has officially launched its new Huawei P30 and Huawei P30 Pro at an event in Paris. While some new hardware specifications were revealed in several leaks before the launch, Huawei managed to maintain a wow factor on launch day with leading specifications, so without wasting any time, here's what is new on both Huawei P30 and Huawei P30 Pro

Huawei P30 specifications and features:

Screen: 6.1 inches

Battery: 3650 mAh

Classification: IP53

32MP front camera with HDR +

The Huawei P30 is an advanced smartphone designed to compete with the most powerful new phones on the market such as the iPhone XS, Samsung S10 and Google Pixel 3. The Huawei P30 phone features three rear cameras: an 8-megapixel telephoto lens, a 16-megapixel wide-angle lens, and a 40-megapixel lens.

The main camera on the Huawei P30 uses a 40MP sensor paired with an F1.8 lens. The focal length is 27mm.

The wide-angle camera uses a 16MP sensor, which is paired with an F2.2 lens.

The third camera uses an 8MP sensor, which is paired with an F2.4 lens. This comes with a 3X telephoto lens.

The Huawei P30 showed in low-light photography, how improved AI can lead to better bokeh effects and long exposure shots of real drama.

The Huawei P30 also gets rid of the three-button navigation controls as it copies the gesture controls similar to the iPhone XS.

The Huawei P30 smartphone offers 128GB internal storage and 6GB RAM options and is priced around $ 900.

This version is bigger than the P30. It comes with a curved screen, similar to that found on all Samsung S10 models. You also get a very large 4,200mAh battery.

The biggest difference that can be seen between the two phones is the camera. Huawei P30 pro has a 20MP wide angle lens, 40MP wide angle lens, 8MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, and a new sensor camera.

The impressive camera specifications allow for amazing zoom images, thanks to the new "Periscope" technology that works by combining multiple mirrors flat inside the phone with an angled mirror at the end, allowing greater magnification without any additional effort.

It also has a "time of flight" sensor that allows for better depth perception. This means HDR and bokeh effects can be improved greatly, as the P30 Pro will be able to recognize distance rather than just guessing.

Huawei P30 pro has four cameras. The main camera uses a 40MP sensor which is paired with an F1.6 lens.

There is a separate camera for wide angle shots. It uses a 20-megapixel sensor with an F2.2 lens. 16mm focal length.

Then there is the 8MP camera and the long 5X zoom lens. Huawei calls it a periscope lens. This lens has an aperture of F3.4. 125mm focal length.

The fourth camera is called the Time of Flight Camera, which calculates the amount of time it takes for a travel light to click while a shot is clicked and then uses that information to offer some unique features to P30 Pro users.

Prices for the P30 Pro start at around $ 1,126 for the 128GB model with 8GB of RAM, and go up to around $ 1,400 for the 512GB model with 8GB of RAM.

Processor: Both the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro use the Kirin 980 processor. This is Huawei's proprietary processor that uses ARM technology, and it is one of the fastest devices you can fit into a phone. The Kirin 980 has 8 processors and contains two NPUs for AI processing.

The top speed of the Kirin 980 is 2.6GHz. It comes with a Mali G76MP10 graphics processor.
